Zhengyan Rougui Tea is a premium Wuyi rock oolong (yancha) cultivated exclusively in the core “Zhengyan” (正岩) region of Wuyi Mountain, Fujian. Named after its dominant cinnamon spice aroma (“Rougui” means cinnamon), this tea is celebrated for its intense “cliff rhyme” (yan yun)—a mineral complexity derived from the volcanic soil of its protected terroir.
The thick, glossy leaves produce a deep amber liquor with a captivating scent of roasted cinnamon bark, dark chocolate, and orchid undertones. On the palate, it delivers a powerful yet balanced profile:
